    1. Bewitched was ABC’s #1 rated show in its first season during Fall, 1964.
    2. Actor Dick York, Samantha’s husband, “Darrin”, collapsed on set during filming in 1969 due to severe back pain and decided to leave the show.
    3. The set used for the show was also used for other productions, including “I Dream of Jeannie”.
    4. Another ABC(American Broadcasting Company) television show, “The Flintstones”, featured an episode in 1965 with Dick York and Elizabeth Montgomery as Darrin and Samantha Stephens as new neighbors.
    5. Bewitched was adapted into a comic book by Dell Comics in 1964.
    6. Throughout the 2000s, Argentina, Japan, India, Russia, and the UK all produced television remakes based on the original Bewitched series.
    7. During a decade of great civil unrest regarding civil rights, Bewitched confronted controversial themes taking on interracial marriage and personal repression long before other TV shows.
    8. Both Screen Gems Productions, Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie employed the use of identical characters.     16. Agnes Moorhead got the role of Endora after meeting Elizabeth Montgomery and William Asher at Bloomingdale’s department store.
